Easter 2009

We had such a fun Easter weekend! (Lots of pictures today. I just couldn't narrow them down to only a couple! So many cute pics!) We started off the weekend on Friday going to the aquarium - lots of fun but way too crowded due to Spring Break. Friday night we dyed Easter eggs during the crazy storms. It was a lot of fun - the boys LOVED coloring the eggs!

Saturday morning we went to a Easter party at a friend's house (thanks for the invite, Tara!). We had a great time, but it was a little cold & windy. The boys didn't mind the weather - they had a blast! Here is Maddox, a little confused as to what you are supposed to do while hunting eggs! The kids are running around crazy trying to get the most eggs and this is what Maddox is doing.... LOL!

This was at Easter egg hunt #2 on Saturday. Maddox again was chillin' during the egg hunt, but it made for some really cute pics!

A Weekend "Down on the Farm", Easter Egg Hunt #2 & #3 & lots of family fun!

The boys, me and Cheryl decided to make the 8-9 hour drive up to Kentucky to visit. This is my husband's family and where he grew up. He wasn't able to join us due to work. We had a busy, but fun, weekend. We enjoyed a birthday party, two Easter egg hunts and just good family time. The boys love Papaw & Mamaw's house - lots of land to run around and play on, cows, dog, cool sheds & buildings - a boy's dream!! :) And of course, they love spending time with cousins - Chelsea, Megan, Marisa & Jared!

Easter Egg Hunt #1

Dylan's preschool had an Easter egg hunt this past Thursday. He had a great time, here are a few pictures of the fun day!

Rare Moment.....

This post is just to share a rare moment-my dad took a snapshot of the family, everyone was cooperative and actually looking at the camera - WOW! We were trying to decide where to take the picture when Maddox just walked over at sat on the curb and smiled - so we followed his lead!! This picture was taken after Dylan music program at his preschool. He did a great job! I am so thankful for my wonderful husband (of almost 10 years) and both of my children! God has blessed me with a wonderful family!

Snow Day in Atlanta, Georgia?!?

I think we were all a little surprised when it started snowing this morning! I know we have heard all week that it was supposed to snow, but the chances of it actually sticking here in Georgia is not likely. But it surprised us all and we had a beautiful 2-4 inches of snow today!! Dylan and Maddox loved watching the snow out the back door, but it wasn't long before Dylan started saying "Let's go play in the snow!" So we bundled up (which took forever) and headed out for some fun in the snow. We enjoyed a great day of spending time with each other, playing in the snow, drinking hot chocolate & attempting to roast marshmallows in the fireplace! ha! :)
