Maddox's Birthday party pics...finally!

Well, I'm just now getting pics from Maddox's birthday party posted. Better late than never! :) We had a great time even though we were rained out and everyone had to come inside.
Opening gifts, thanks everybody - so sweet!

Maddox has this thing for shoes...he loves them. So he was very excited about his new flip flops and would not let me take them off!

This is how he fell asleep for his nap. He was exhausted! Notice the flip flops...wouldn't let me take them off so I put him down for his nap with them on!

Wooden playground set that Papaw & Mamaw bought the boys! We will be staying outside the whole summer! They LOVE it and we appreciate it very, very much!

Bright Idea!

We have been working in our yard a lot lately. The other day when I was out on the back patio, I had a "bright" idea. I decided we needed a little color and that I should paint the boys picnic table along with my flower pots. I am not a very creative person, but I have been inspired to try to be creative through my good friend's blog. (yes, that's you Heather!) Her blog is so awesome and I look forward to ready her new posts. You can visit her blog at: http://elizaandcamille.blogspot.com. Anyway, she told me to not be afraid of paint that you can always fix any mistakes. So Dylan and I went to Wal-Mart and bought the brightest red, orange, yellow & lime green paint we could find, some paint brushes & sponges brushes. We came home and got busy. Not only did we love the finished results, but we had a blast painting everything together! Heather, I will be sewing the boys matching outfits next - LOL! ;)

More Cute Pics of the Birthday Boy!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Maddox!

Today is Maddox's 2nd Birthday!! I can't believe he is already two. I was up a lot with him last night (teething) and at around 4am, I thought "wow, 2 years ago I was delivering 10 lb. Maddox!!" LOL!

We had a good day at Dylan's preschool "Day at the Park" today. We are going to celebrate Saturday with a small family party. Maddox is now napping so I thought I would look back on his baby days until now. Time really does fly right by! Here are a few pics of my precious Maddox.

He was not quite 3 weeks old - so sweet!

Now here he is 2 years later - just as sweet! This was taken yesterday when I was trying to hurry and clean his room before his nap. He got his little "diapie" and sat down in his chair and went right to sleep. Forget waiting for Mommy to put me in my crib! And here he is on Easter - just a little glimpse of his personality!

Happy Birthday, Maddox!

A Weekend of Flowers!!

We had so much fun this Mother's Day weekend planting flowers and working in our yard. It started off on Friday, I came home to roses from the boys and dinner cooked by my wonderful husband! Then we were off to Home Depot to pick out flowers! We worked in our yard from 9am on Saturday morning until 6pm that evening.

Dylan was the big helper. He helped load and unload the flowers from the truck to the wagon, then to the backyard.

Just one of the ending results!

Also, another big part of this weekend was yesterday Maddox went to Sunday School for the first time. He will be 2 years old this Thursday - such a big boy!! He went right in with no problem and had a great time.

Overall, I had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend spending time with my two precious boys and my husband. Nothing like time spent together! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!

Mother's Day Tea Party

Who says you can't have tea parties with your little boys? Dylan's preschool had a Mother's Day Tea Party and we had so much fun! Dylan was so excited, his teacher said he couldn't wait until I got there for the tea party. The mothers were already sitting at the tables when they brought the kids in and he got the biggest smile on his face when he saw me and Mawmaw sitting at his table. They sang a couple of songs to us then brought their mommies their plate with cake, strawberries and animal crackers. Dylan would not eat, of course, but he thought it was awesome drinking out of the tea cup! Here is a few pics of the special day!

This picture is a little blurry but I had to share it because of how cute Dylan was drinking out of his tea cup. He got the biggest kick out it! So cute!

Dylan and his best friend, Malena, sipping tea! :)

Cruisin' Towards 10 Years!

On July 10, Russell and I will celebrate our 10 year anniversary!! I can't believe it has been 10 years already. For an early celebration, we went on our very first cruise (and we went without the boys!) We had a GREAT time! We are now hooked on the whole cruise thing, we will definitely go on another one (probably WITH the boys next time!) Anyway, we went on Royal Carribean to Coco Cay Island and Nassau, Bahamas. Beautiful! Thought I would share a few pics from the trip.

This was taken on top of Fort Charlotte - Nassau, Bahamas.

Monarch of the Seas - took this picture from ferry boat taking us to Coco Cay Island.

The sunrise over Atlantis - Nassau, Bahamas. We got up at 6:15am to see this and it was so worth it!

I'm very thankful for my husband. God has blessed us so much over the years and I am looking forward to many more years with Russell Robinson!! ;)
